Beginning at 11:00 am the march kicks off in Hollywood at Hollywood Blvd & Highland Ave. We will hear dynamic voices from communities across Southern California including; Baba Akili from BLM, Hip/Hop Artist Tony Tig, people impacted by our profit first system, local progressive candidates, and more all on the issue of Medicare for All. At 12:00 pm marchers will proceed east on Hollywood make their way around to CNN headquarter where we will take a moment of silence and hear a poetic eulogy for those who have passed from the pre-existing condition of lack of health care or inadequate health care in our profit first system. The march will culminate in a rally at DeLongpre Park where people will hear from speakers like Dr. Paul Song, Health Insurance Whistle-Blower Wendall Potter, Principle co-authors of AB1400/Calcare Assemblymembers Ash Kalra & Miguel Santiago, and enjoy music and entertainment.
We very much need the support of organizations across Southern California. If you are an organization that can endorse this event we would greatly appreciate it if you can lend your logo for our use on banners, literature, and social media.
It is even more important that each organization mobilizes its membership to attend by promoting the march at meetings, by email, and on your social media platforms (#M4M4All). Please share our registration link. Please have your organization and members follow us @M4M4All_LA and @HCAlosangeles on social media and help share our posts regarding the march.
